The town halls will share changes in the fare system, including how riders will be able to purchase fare using the Valley Metro app or a reloadable Copper card. Riders will also learn about Smart Fare, a new account-based, pay-as-you-go system.

At the events, attendees can ask questions and apply for reduced fare. Reduced fares on local bus routes and light rail are available to youth ages 6-18, seniors aged 65 and older, persons with disabilities and Medicare-card holders. Bring required documentation to apply for reduced fare in person. Learn more at valleymetro.org/reducedfaredocs.
