Weekend Closures & Restrictions on Valley Freeways, August 27 - 30, 2010

Southbound I-17 ramps to I-10 at the 'Stack' interchange closed for freeway widening. Southbound I-17 narrowed to two lanes between Thomas Rd. and I-10 junction. Southbound I-17 on-ramp at Thomas Rd. and off-ramp at McDowell Rd. closed. Access I-10 by exiting at Indian School or Thomas roads and using southbound Seventh Ave. to reach eastbound I-10 or southbound 35th Ave. to reach westbound I-10. Drivers also can stay on southbound I-17 for downtown access or to connect with I-10 near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Eastbound I-10 narrowed to one lane between Verrado Way and Sarival Ave. for freeway widening. Eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Verrado Way and eastbound on- and off-ramps at Jackrabbit Tr. and Cotton Ln. closed at times during the work. Drivers affected by ramp closures use adjacent exit ramps or access Eastbound I-10 by using local streets, including northbound Estrella/Pebble Creek Pkwy.
