Friends,

We wanted to let you know that Rick Simonetta, CEO of METRO will be
appearing live on KFNX Radio 1100 AM on Monday afternoon (12:00 - 1:00).
He will be on the "Inside Politics" Show with Clancy Jayne.

As many of you will remember, Clancy Jayne is a LONG time Friend of
Transit - even before it was fashionable to be a "Friend."  Clancy
served in the State Legislature and was very helpful on transportation
matters.  He is now the host of "Inside Politics" - an hour-long show
which provides listeners with great insight into various issues in the
public arena.  The show is held live at Tom's Tavern and Restaurant in
Downtown Phoenix.right next to the ongoing light rail project.  Tom's
Tavern has also been a long time supporter of transit.  (And their chili
is legendary.)

Please tune in Monday to KFNX 1100 AM Radio at NOON to hear Mr.
Simonetta talk about the progress of Light Rail.
