Subject: The passing of a very good friend...

Friends,

It is with a very heavy heart I share with you this bad news:  We lost a
very good friend - Mr. Perry Baker.  He passed away on Friday.

I know many of you had the great fortune to know him personally.  Some
of you may not have known him, but all of us have seen his creativity in
action.  Perry was very instrumental in helping us to form Friends of
Transit more than five years ago.  In fact, he designed the Friends of
Transit logo, which can be viewed on the website
www.friendsoftransit.org <http://www.friendsoftransit.org> .

There will be a memorial service on Wed. April 19th at 10am.  Services
will be held at the LDS church located at 4748 W. Orangewood Ave.,
Glendale.

Perry was a REALLY good guy and a true FRIEND.  We will all miss him
dearly - both in friendship and in professional talent and creativity.
