Subject: Monday March freeway ramp restrictions

In anticipation of the planned march to the State Capitol on Monday
(April 10), the Arizona Department of Transportation encourages you to
use alternate routes to avoid traffic delays in downtown Phoenix. The
following freeway ramps are tentatively scheduled to close to traffic:
 
· The I-10 entrance and exit ramps at 19th Avenue, tentatively scheduled
to close at 12 p.m. (noon). 
 
· The east and westbound I-10 exit ramps at 7th Avenue, tentatively
scheduled to close at 12:30 p.m. 
 
· The eastbound I-10 carpool lane exit ramp at 3rd Avenue, tentatively
scheduled to close at 12 p.m. (noon). 
 
· The southbound I-17 exit ramp at Jefferson Street, tentatively
scheduled to close at 1 p.m. 
 
· The northbound I-17 exit ramp at Adams Street, tentatively scheduled
to close at 1 p.m. 
 
Please note the times listed above are subject to change. The ramps
listed above will reopen as traffic conditions allow. Additional
closures may occur due to traffic or other circumstances associated with
the event.
