Friends,

It often seems we send you emails about radio call-in shows, but usually
with little time to respond.  Fortunately, for a change, we actually can
give you a few days notice.

We have just learned that Rick Simonetta from Valley Metro Rail will be
doing an interview with Steve Claussen on KTAR next Tuesday (10/4)
between 2-3 p.m. The interview is a basic light rail construction and
project update. The interview will also include calls from listeners.

As many of you know, talk radio often disproportionately brings out
opponents of Light Rail.  Of course, Rick can hold his own against these
guys, but if you feel so inclined, it would be nice to have a few
FRIENDS call in.  Callers should call (602) 277-5827 to get on the air
with Rick!
