Subject: ADOT News: No Full Freeway Closures This Weekend

Some good news for Valley drivers.  There are no (full) freewayclosures
scheduled this weekend in the Phoenix area.  The following restriction
on northbound I-17 has been scheduled Friday night into Saturday
morning.  Please Drive Safely.  Buckle Up, Don't Speed and Never Drink
and Drive.

Northbound Interstate 17 will be narrowed to one lane between the I-10
Split near Sky Harbor Airport to 7th Street from 10 p.m. Friday to 6
a.m. Saturday (Sept. 24) for overhead sign maintenance work.  The
eastbound I-10 ramp to northbound I-17 also will be closed.  Drivers
should consider using  westbound I-10 as an alternate route that
reconnects with I-17 at the Stack interchange south of McDowell Road.
