Friends,  Below is a note from Jim Dickey, the new Public Transportation Division Director at Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) about their new website.  There is a lot of very useful information in this website.

As you may know, ADOT has typically been mostly concerned about highways in the past.  This new trend in addressing all modes of transportation, including transit, is a welcome and refreshing trend that we hope continues.

Executive Director

Hello:

ADOT's new Public Transportation Division (PTD) website has been released and can be accessed off the ADOT main page under "About ADOT/Divisions/PTD", or by using www.azdot.gov/ptd

We encourage you to use the website as a tool to answer questions and direct comments, learn more about ADOT PTD's programs and projects, and to access current information, applications, and updates on the Division's involvement in public transportation issues.   Along with regular features on current events, you will find a calendar identifying future significant dates of importance, the most current Annual Report, profiles of many of the FTA/FHWA funding programs, projects, and properties, and direct links to a variety of public transportation organizations and documents.

We welcome you to visit the site and don't hesitate to forward comments to any of ADOT's PTD staff.

Thanks....

Jim Dickey
Division Director
