Friends,
 
This past Election Day was not only a big day for Proposition 400 here
locally, but nationwide there were 31 ballot propositions dealing with
transportation/transit measures.  Of those, 24 passed.  
 
This was the biggest Election Day ever for transit.  And clearly, voters
across the country sent strong messages in support of transit and
transporation.
