Date: Friday, March 15, 2002 10:21 PM In the past, we have written to let you know about opportunities to meet members of our Congressional Delegation when they are in Arizona so that you can hear about the topics they are working on. It is also a great opportunity for you to talk to them directly about issues of importance to YOU. Some of you have reported back that you have had great conversations with Senator Kyl about the importance of the Greater Phoenix Region receiving its fair share of federal dollars to build our voter-approved Light Rail System and to make necessary improvements to our bus system. We also wanted to let you know of an opportunity to meet Congressman J.D. Hayworth. Congressman Hayworth will be speaking about "The Economic Recovery and Prospects for Further Tax Relief" on Tuesday, March 26th at the Pointe South Mountain Resort (7777 South Pointe Parkway). Registration is at 7:30 a.m. The breakfast and program runs from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the breakfast will cost you $40 (only $30 if you're a member of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce).
