annual conference 2012

8:00am – 1:30pm
Hyatt Regency Phoenix

Registration is now closed.

At the First Annual Conference in 2003, the program theme was Transit: Into the Future, which explored what was to come for transit in the Valley. At the upcoming 10th Annual event, the theme is Transit: Back to the Future, which will look back at how far we’ve come in the last ten years as well as look forward to what the next ten years and beyond will bring.

This half-day conference is an opportunity for the business community, transit enthusiasts and others to hear about the latest news in transit in the Valley. Our speakers include:

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton
John Inglish from the Utah Transit Authority
Valerie Manning (formerly with the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce)
Jack Tevlin (former Deputy City Manager for the City of Phoenix)
Kimber Lanning with Local First
David Martin with the Associated General Contractors

During the luncheon, we will recognize Dave Boggs as the recipient of the 10th Annual Friend of Transit Award. We are also pleased to announce the inaugural Friend of the Decade Award, which will be presented to Congressman Ed Pastor.
